Graduate of the Sorbonne and the École Pratique des Hautes Etudes,laureate of the Fondation Napoléon, Laurence Wodey has published books and scientific articles since she was 22 years old. She specializes in Napoleonic history and the history of orders and decorations. She notably coordinated the production of the “Legion of Honor History Research Guide”, published by Editions Monelle Hayot in 2002. She has been Assistant Curator at the Legion of Honor Museum for seven years, and has been named Knight of the Arts and Letters in 2005.
