La Bête

This play is a tribute to Molière by a contemporary American author. Through the young character of Elomire we find the sufferings of Molière. The Beast, a filthy creature, reveals the character’s future struggles in his quest for freedom. Xavier Florent, in his foreword of director, and creator of the play in France summarizes: “in every imbecile slumbers a beast”.
