Rapaire

The Monacan painter Rapaire lived outside schools and currents. In the 70s and the 80s he painted his city with obstinacy. Not Monaco as shown in posters and postcards but as seen from his window and during his walks. A mineral, poetic and deserted Monaco. The catalogue raisonné of the period from 1974 to 1989 presents the totality of Rapaire’s painted works.
